ChatLabs today announced $3.2 million in seed funding to revolutionize how brands engage with their social media-driven audience. Led by Silicon Road Ventures, a vertical fund exclusively focused on commerce tech, the round included participation from Pier88, an alternative asset manager investing in innovative technology companies, Mu Ventures, a NY-based venture capital firm focusing on commerce enablement, and strategic business angels. The funding will accelerate the company’s mission to help consumer brands tackle the growing challenge of declining engagement from social media traffic.

Today’s brands face a critical challenge: while social media drives increasing traffic to brand websites, these visitors engage and convert 50% less than traditional traffic sources. ChatLabs addresses this gap with an AI-powered platform that creates personalized, social media-like experiences tailored to individual consumer needs.
